"We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it!"
(Ephesians 2:10 The Passion Translation)
A Message From The Author
“There’s more.” Two words that turned my world upside down. Two words I couldn’t get out of my head, let alone out of my spirit. Just when I was finally feeling settled, God said, “There’s more.” I certainly didn’t know anything about this “more”, but I needed to find out. With those words, I embarked on a journey, a quest, a treasure hunt with God to discover this more. Wherever I felt He led me, I would go, trusting that there I would get the next clue to the next stop on the journey. I call it a treasure hunt because everything I found along the way was indeed a treasure. God delights in hiding things so we will seek them out, and He loves our reaction when we find His treasures.
It’s God’s privilege to conceal things and the king’s privilege to discover them. (Proverbs 25:2)
Friends, as sons and daughters of the Most High God, we are those kings whose privilege it is to discover God’s more. The first treasure to discover is the Secret Place. In the Bible, God’s presence is called the Secret Place. Every believer must enter this place. I had been a Christian many years, and didn’t know how to enter His presence. I’m sure like many of you, I thought being in His presence was just a metaphor for imagining God during prayer. I thought because of everything I was doing, I had a relationship with God. But then, I had an encounter with Him that changed everything.
This book is about my journey, and all the treasures I found. I gladly share them with you, and hope you will receive them as well as find your own treasures.
